LastPass is a freemium password manager that stores encrypted passwords online. The standard version of LastPass comes with a web interface, but also includes plugins for various web browsers and apps for many smartphones.
Why We Use
We use Lastpass as a way to securely store all of our client’s logins without needing to share the passwords with our team. This means that although we can access systems on behalf of our clients then our team cannot see the exact password that is in use. So if for some reason one of our clients chooses to no longer work with us 😭then we can revoke access to the logins and the client’s password is still completely secure.
